Dr. Carola Lilienthal
Dr. Carola Lilienthal, Vertretungsprofessur. Carola Lilienthal graduated in computer science in 1995 and holds a doctoral degree in computer science since 2008. In her thesis she examined the complexity of software architecture with focus on architectural styles and strategies. From 1995 to 98 and 2004 to 2008 she joined the Informatics Department of the University of Hamburg, Germany as a research assistant. She was involved in teaching object-oriented application development and agile methods at the undergraduate and graduate level. She has serveral years of experience in constructing and designing of object-oriented software and frequently works as a consultant for software architecture, quality assurance with the tool Sotoarc/Sotograph and agile software development. Since 2008 she is member of the C1 WPS, a spin-off company from the university, where she currently works as senior software architect.
She is co-author of the book "Object-Oriented Construction Handbook" (Morgan Kaufman, 2004) and has (co-)authored a large number of articles covering various aspects of software architecture and object-oriented system-development.
