Software Engineering Group

Welcome to the Software Engineering Group at the Computer Science Department at the University of Hamburg!

Our focus is on interactive application software. We adopt a human-centered approach, emphasizing cooperation with users, evolutionary development strategies, and object-oriented software construction.

We work on:

• software development methods: STEPS and WAM (tools & materials approach)
• cooperative processes of software design
• software support for organizational change
• computer-mediated knowledge co-construction
